50 Simple Ways to Make This Your Best Fall After 50
Because your best memories aren’t behind you… they’re waiting for you this autumn.

Imagine that it’s a crisp September morning. You’re wrapped in your favorite cozy sweater, coffee in hand, watching the leaves dance across the yard.
Somewhere in the distance, someone is baking cinnamon rolls, and every store has somehow decided pumpkin spice belongs in absolutely everything.
It’s fall. And if you’re anything like me, you probably love this season. But I’ve noticed that too many of us women over 50 watch fall happen instead of truly living it.
We spend September catching up after summer. And in October, we’re racing toward the holidays.
November brings the stress of Thanksgiving. And before we know it, Christmas decorations are everywhere and another beautiful season has slipped by.
Not this year, though. This year is different.
This year we’re creating memories, laughing more, trying new things, saying yes to adventures, and making this our happiest, healthiest, most joyful fall yet.
Whether you’re 52 or 72, this list is your invitation to embrace everything autumn has to offer. Ready?
This blog is all about 50 simple ways to make this your best fall after 50.
50 FALL MUST-DOS FOR WOMEN OVER 50
Get Outside and Enjoy the Season
1. Visit an apple orchard.
Fresh apples, apple cider donuts, and beautiful photos? Yes, please.
2. Go leaf peeping.
Take a scenic drive and admire the changing colors. Sometimes the best therapy is found on a country road.
3. Take a hike you’ve never tried before.
You don’t have to climb a mountain. Even an easy nature trail counts.
4. Watch a sunrise with coffee.
Start one morning with nothing but silence, birds, and gratitude.
5. Watch a sunset.
They’re free, and they’re spectacular.
6. Visit a pumpkin patch.
Because you’re never too old to pick the perfect pumpkin.
7. Walk every day for a week.
Fall weather makes walking feel less like exercise and more like a gift.
8. Attend a local fall festival.
Support your community while making new memories.
9. Roast marshmallows over a bonfire.
Bonus points if you make s’mores.
10. Take family photos in the fall leaves.
